Welcome
The Austin Braves Baseball Club is not your typical amateur club. We are:
- A mens amateur baseball club that honors the spirit of the game and competition
- A source for sound fundamental instruction for little league coaches and parents
Want to become an Austin Brave?
Our club is currently looking to add one or two new members. Because we value the chemistry we have developed over the years, we look at the character of an individual just as much as the ability when considering new membership. If you are over 25, and have an interest in playing real baseball, contact us at info@autinbravesbaseball.com or call 512-917-9844.
This is a competitive recreational league, so it does cost money to play. Total cost for a 30 game schedule and uniform is about $350.00 which works out to about $11 per game. As the season progresses, a prorated fee will apply.
History
Founded in the spring of 2000, the Austin Braves Baseball Club is a 28+ amateur team that competes in the Austin Metro Baseball League in Austin, Texas. The league consists of a 31 game schedule averaging about two games per week starting in April. Members of the Braves come from many walks of life and vary in professions but the one thing in common is love for the game of baseball.
The Braves also support the community by sponsoring little leaguers through the Rood foundation.
